Prayers for RainI remember: how you'd always proclaim the ways in which you loved the rain; watching you try to touch each glistening orb
from the opposite side of the windowpane; when you would gaze in awe as some drops slipped under
your warm fingertips and left tear-tracks
in ice-cold glass. I would wonder why you didn't notice when tear-tracks were on my cheek.
I remember: now hazy memories of the days
